Other Details to Note

*Our home is located 2.5 miles from Highway 43 on a dirt road. It can be slippery after a lot of rain but dries up quickly. It is a well-graded road and maintained well. *There are insects in the country—we use a non-toxic pest service which is helpful at keeping the population down! Just know that you might find a dead bug or two during your stay. * We are on city water. We also offer a Berkey water filter (we even use one at our home in Colorado for health reasons) and five bottles of water in the fridge will be waiting for you when you arrive. *You are in full control of your heat and cooling while staying at our home. *Pretty obvious, but don't bathe your dogs in either tub or let them go into the hot tub. Thanks!

Sheryl's place was by far the best AirBnB we've ever stayed at. It was like walking into someone's beautiful home. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need, especially the kitchen. There wasn't a single thing we would change and we hope to come back next year.

Beautiful home close to the Compton Trailhead for those wanting to hike to Hemmed In Hollow Falls. You can be back at the cabin and in the hot tub to rest your weary legs within 15 minutes. From the time we walked in till the time we had to leave, everything was perfect! I absolutely LOVED the labels for the kitchen cabinets and drawers, on the remotes for the tvs and air units, the instructions for the hot tub, and how well Sheryl communicated each time I reached out with a question. This is a beautiful home that you can clearly tell has had love and lots of hard work put into making it comfortable for all to enjoy. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Buffalo National River area. We will definitely be back!

Sheryl's place felt like walking into someone's home. It was very welcoming, comfy, and had absolutely everything we needed. All we had to do was bring the food, nothing else. I highly recommend Hilltop Haven. The road getting there was pretty rough, but very worth it. Thanks for a wonderful stay for our sister hiking trip!

Pics don’t do the peace and comfort of this place justice. Sheryl thought of it all and is so organized. The place is so peaceful and easy to find, no problems with a 2WD Honda CRV, even after light drizzles. The hot tub is large and clean and the whole place is so beautifully maintained. Dog and kiddo were in heaven.

This lovely little home was the perfect size for our family of four. The location is close to hiking trails and far from just about everything else, which was perfect for us. It is on a dirt road, but the drive was easy for us in a Mazda MX5, but that is in the dry. We loved the beautiful views and star gazing from the hot tub. The place was comfortable and well appointed, and it was nice that everything was labeled. Communication was top notch and we never wanted for anything. This is the perfect place to get away and enjoy the great outdoors.

Great location - close enough to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch for climbing and Paige Falls for a dip in the cool water. The hot tub was nice after a day of climbing and hiking. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Nice, quiet setting to watch the sunrise!

House was beautiful! So much to do on the property was surprised with tetherball, basketball and the hot tub that kept us busy in our down time. So many wonderful extras in the kitchen like ziplocs, tons of spices, condiments and even baking things. Really enjoyed our stay as the beds and restrooms were amazing to use. Will book again!

You definitely need a vehicle to get to this home. There is plenty of parking in front of the garage and even on the grass. If the weather has been rainy (or snowy), you may wish you had all-wheel or four wheel drive, but most of the time it's easy to get to our home without it.
